Dr Selvarani Perumal had experience working in Oncology before pursuing her career in General practice. Dr Selvarani is passionate about General Practice and enjoys helping families with their day to day health concerns striving to achieve the best outcomes.

Dr Nicky Flynn

Dr Nicky qualified from the University of Cape Town in 2004. She worked in
Paediatrics in London and completed her General Practice training in
Ireland where she lived and worked for 11 years. Her main interests are
chronic disease, child health and women’s health. Dr Flynn is an
experienced inserter of mirena and copper coils. When not at work, Nicky
spends her time chasing after her husband and 3 kids on their bikes or at
the sports fields, and squeezing in ‘grounding’ swims in the sea wherever
possible.

Dr. Emma Knight

Dr. Emma Knight has been a General Practitioner since 2016. She completed her training in the United Kingdom and emigrated to Australia in 2017.

Dr Knight has a specialist interest in Dermatology. She is skilled in the recognition and management of skin cancer. She offers a non surgical approach to appropriate skin lesions, biopsies and complete excisions. She regularly conducts follow up for Melanoma patients.

Mr Xavier Wong

Xavier is an enthusiastic Accredited Practising Dietitian who graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Dietetics with Nutrition, from the International Medical University in Malaysia. To delve deeper into his interest in physical activity and health, he pursued a Master of Health Science (Exercise and Health) at the University of Western Australia. Xavier is passionate about eating disorders and undertaking a specialist course. Additionally, he is involved in supporting a nationwide aged care menu appraisal project. Xavier also has experience as a public health nutritionist and an alcohol and drug counsellor. His primary passion lies in supporting individuals in adopting dietary and lifestyle changes to manage their health conditions and improve their overall well-being.

Dr Claudia Munn

General Practitioner

Originally from the UK, I graduated in 2012 and moved to Perth in 2017 to work in Emergency Medicine. Although I have thoroughly enjoyed working in Emergency, I am now looking for a new challenge, and am transitioning into General Practice.

I am delighted to join Olympic Medical as a trainee General Practitioner. I take a holistic approach to patient care and am looking forward to building strong doctor-patient relationships whilst helping patients achieve their health goals.

I am interested in all areas of medicine, especially chronic disease management, paediatrics, emergency medicine and women’s health.

Simrat Sekhon (Sim)

Sim is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with growing expertise in the area of paediatrics and a particular interest in the field of eating disorders. She also enjoys working with people of all ages and nutrition-related concerns. Sim has a patient-centred and trauma-informed approach and is passionate about educating her clients to understand their inner self metabolism by empowering them to make nutrition and lifestyle changes that support their mental, physical, emotional and relational health. Thus, enabling them to thrive. Sim uses evidence-based nutrition counselling and coaching skills to work with her clients holistically in order to improve health outcomes and sustain change in their lives. Sim is also a yoga teacher, holistic life coach and personal trainer, and is passionate about supporting the health of mind, body and spirit.
