Dr Gos is a Specialist General Practitioner with a passion for skin cancer medicine and rural Australian healthcare. Although his practice at Olympic Medical Centre is dedicated to skin cancer prevention, diagnosis and surgery, he continues to enjoy heading to the bush to undertake GP locum work in remote communities across Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

He believes the best part of general practice is its unpredictability. One day he may be removing a fish fin spine from a fisherman’s finger, the next diagnosing an unexpected case of nephrotic syndrome, or managing tropical illnesses such as melioidosis in the Top End. It’s this variety and problem-solving that keeps him passionate about being a GP.

Dr Gos is also a Senior Lecturer at Curtin University Medical School, an Australian Medical Council Clinical Examiner, and is actively involved in teaching, supervising and mentoring the next generation of general practitioners.
